Many commuters know the routine with strap and bracket mounts: fit the light, tighten it, then undo it all again when you take the light off to park. A magnetic coupling mount is designed to make that quicker.
Quick on and off: the light snaps onto the mount magnetically and comes off without clips or screws.
Self-locking: on Lumixell Proton, the light locks in place on the mount and is released with a twist.
The mount stays, the light goes: the strap stays on the bike, so you only take the light with you when you park.
Small and tidy: a compact mount on the handlebar or seat post, without a bulky bracket.
Proton uses this magnetic coupling for both its front and rear lights. See the Proton product page for full details.
