RZ Series Bike Headlights with Anti-Glare Beam
Five USB-C rechargeable bike headlights, from 500 to 2500 lumens. A semi-cutoff beam puts the light on the road, not in the eyes of oncoming riders and drivers. A PowerBar display shows how many hours of light are left. RZ 900, RZ 1500 and DB 2500 have a replaceable battery that you can swap with a coin, no tools needed.

A flat upper edge, like a dipped headlight
The semi-cutoff lens shapes the beam with a flatter top edge. Light lands on the road ahead instead of at eye level, so oncoming riders, walkers and drivers are not dazzled.
DB 2500 adds a second lens: a spot for distance and a flood for the edges of the road.
PowerBar display
Four marks show the hours of light left in your mode: 3, 2, 1 and 0.5. Press the button once with the light off to check the battery.
Charge your phone
RZ 900, 1200, 1500 and DB 2500 work as a power bank. Plug a phone into the USB-C port, with the light on or off.
Replaceable battery
On RZ 900, RZ 1500 and DB 2500, open the battery cap with a coin and put in a charged cell. No tools needed.
Daytime Running flash
A DRL flash mode on every model helps drivers notice you in daylight.

Frequently asked questions
What does the anti-glare semi-cutoff beam do?
A regular round beam spreads light upwards as well as forwards, into the eyes of people coming towards you. The RZ lens gives the beam a flatter top edge, so most of the light lands on the road ahead. You keep the brightness, and others are not dazzled.
Which RZ should I choose?
RZ 500 and RZ 900 suit lit city streets. RZ 1200 suits roads that are lit in parts. RZ 1500 and DB 2500 suit dark country roads, fast riding and long rides. If you want to carry a spare battery, choose RZ 900, RZ 1500 or DB 2500.
How long does the battery last?
In Eco mode, from 16 hours (RZ 500) to 45 hours (DB 2500). Brighter modes run for less time: on Max, each model runs 1 to 2 hours. The PowerBar display shows how many hours are left in the mode you are using.
How long does it take to charge?
Over USB-C, a full charge takes 4 hours for RZ 500, 4 hours 30 minutes for RZ 1200, 5 hours 30 minutes for RZ 1500 and 8 hours 30 minutes for DB 2500.
How does the PowerBar display work?
While you ride, its four marks show the burn time left: 3, 2, 1 and 0.5 hours. When a mark goes out, you have less than that many hours left. Press the button once with the light off to check the battery. While charging, the bars show 25, 50, 75 and 100%.
Can I charge my phone from it?
Yes, with RZ 900, RZ 1200, RZ 1500 and DB 2500. Connect your phone to the light’s USB-C port with a USB-C, Lightning or micro-USB cable. It works with the light on or off, but charging a phone while riding shortens the light’s runtime.
How do I change the battery?
On RZ 900, RZ 1500 and DB 2500, turn the battery cap with a coin, take out the cell and put in a charged one. Use only the Lumixell-specified battery, and ask the shop where you bought your light whether it stocks spares. RZ 500 and RZ 1200 have a built-in battery.
Is the battery replaceable under the EU battery rules?
From 18 February 2027, the EU Battery Regulation requires batteries in portable products to be removable and replaceable by the user. On RZ 900, RZ 1500 and DB 2500, you open the battery cap with a coin and put in a new battery, with no tools.
Is it waterproof?
All five models are IPX5 water resistant, with a sealed cap over the USB-C port. They handle rain and road spray. Keep the cap closed when riding, and do not submerge the light.
Why did my light dim by itself?
Two safeguards can lower the output. When the battery is low, the light switches to Eco mode so you can get home. If the light gets too hot, for example on a slow climb on a warm day, it reduces output until it cools.
Will it fit my bike and my Garmin mount?
The silicone strap fits round and oval handlebars. The light’s base takes a Garmin-compatible adapter, so it can hang under an out-front mount with your bike computer on top. It also fits GoPro-compatible mounts. The out-front mount is an option for wholesale and custom orders.
Is the RZ series StVZO approved?
Not yet. The RZ series is not StVZO certified, so it isn’t approved for road use in Germany. Lighting rules differ by country, so check the rules where you ride.
